About CWBDI
Who We Are
Criminologists Without Borders Development Initiative (CWBDI) is a registered organization (CAC/IT/63763) dedicated to preventing and controlling crime in society. We serve as a bridge between academic knowledge and practical crime prevention solutions.
Our platform aims to share knowledge, experience, and best practices in crime prevention, control, and management while providing a focal point for crime orientation for Nigerian policymakers and government officials.
CWBDI was founded on a simple but urgent premise: Nigeria’s security institutions need better tools, better research, and better collaboration — and criminologists are uniquely positioned to provide them.
We are a registered criminology organization in Nigeria, built by practitioners who understand that crime is not just a law enforcement problem. It’s a research problem, a policy problem, and a community problem — and it can only be solved when all three are addressed together.
